Happy Birthday Book!

It's official. My latest book - the Unstoppable Writing Teacher - is published.

This is the 8th time I have seen by name next to a copyright and an ISBN number. (Look Ma- I'm in the Library of Congress!)

And each time it happens - the day the long awaited publication date arrives - it feels so...weird. Like there should be something cosmic that happens. Maybe fireworks. Perhaps a nice dinner. But each time the sun rises on the day and I wait. I know the book will soon be in readers' hands. But for today I wait.

My stomach is in knots. I hope everyone who reads it likes it as much as I do.

It's not perfect. I'm already noticing all the things I want to change if I am lucky enough to get another printing. But I am proud of it. It's an honest book. Maybe too honest. And I hope it turns out to be as practical as I planned for it to be.

I want to thank all of you who have supported me and this book both online and in real life.

I cannot wait to hear what you think - and to start an ongoing discussion with you here and on Twitter.
